[A] [PREACHING LESSON 11:] THE IDEAL TEAMWORK OF THE CHRISTIANS IN THE MINISTRY OF THE LORD

(ANG MAGANDANG PAG-UUGALI NG MGA KRISTIYANO SA PAGTUTULUNGAN SA GAWAIN NG PANGINOON)

MARK 2:1-5 “And again he entered into Capernaum after [some] days; and it was noised that he was in the house.
Mk 2:2 And straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive [them], no, not so much as about the door: and he preached the word unto them.
Mk 2:3 And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four.
Mk 2:4 And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken [it] up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay.
Mk 2:5 When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.”

Panimula:

1. THEIR AVAILABILITY IN THE WORK OF THE LORD
MARK 2:3 “And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four.”

EPHESIANS 5:16 “Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”

2. THEIR UNITY IN THE WORK OF THE LORD
 (Ang kanilang pagkakaisa sa gawain ng Panginoon)
PSALMS 133:1-3 “Behold, how good and how pleasant [it is] for brethren to dwell together in unity!
Pss 133:2 [It is] like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, [even] Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;
Pss 133:3 As the dew of Hermon, [and as the dew] that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord commanded the blessing, [even] life for evermore.”

PSALMS 133:1 “Behold, how good and how pleasant [it is] for brethren to dwell together in unity!”

3. THEIR ABILITY IN THE WORK OF THE LORD
MARK 2:4 “And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken [it] up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay.

4. THEIR FLEXIBILITY IN THE WORK OF THE LORD
1CORINTHIANS 9:19-22 “For though I be free from all [men], yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.
1Cor 9:20 And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law;
1Cor 9:21 To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.
1Cor 9:22 To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all [men], that I might by all means save some.”

1CORINTHIANS 9:19 “For though I be free from all [men], yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.”

MATTHEW 18:20 “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”

5. THE SINCERITY IN THE WORK OF THE LORD
PHILIPPIANS 1:14-18 “And many of the brethren in the Lord, waxing confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.
Php 1:15 Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:
Php 1:16 The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds:
Php 1:17 But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel.
Php 1:18 What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.”

PHILIPPIANS 1:14 “And many of the brethren in the Lord, waxing confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.”

ACTS 2:41-47 “Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added [unto them] about three thousand souls.
Acts 2:42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
Acts 2:43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.
Acts 2:44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
Acts 2:45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all [men], as every man had need.
Acts 2:46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
Acts 2:47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.”
