[A] [PREACHING LESSON 16:] THE GREAT CHALLENGE TO FOCUS ON THE SOURCE OF SPIRITUAL STRENGTH OF THE CHRISTIAN WHICH IS THE LORD JESUS CHRIST

(ANG DAKILANG HAMON NA TUMINGIN TAYO SA PINAGMUMULAN NG ATING LAKAS ESPIRITWAL NA SI KRISTO HESUS)

PHILIPPIANS 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

HEBREWS 12:2 “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of [our] faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

Panimula:

a.     Ang dakilang hamon na itingin natin ang ating mga puso sa pinagmumulan ng ating lakas espiritwal.

b.    Patotoo ni Pablo na lahat ng bagay ay magagawa sa kanyang paglilingkod sa Diyos habang siya’y nakatingin at inilalagay ang kanyang tiwala kay Kristo Hesus.

Mga dakilang pagpapala na ating mapagtatagumpayan dahil kay Kristo Hesus:

1. IN JESU CHRIST WE CAN ASSURE GREAT CHANGE IN OUR CHRISTIAN LIFE

(Kay Kristo ay ating masisiguro ang lubos na pagbabago sa ating buhay Kristiyano)

2CORINTHIANS 5:17 “Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

a.     Ang ating dating masamang pagkatao ay babaguhin na Niya.

EPHESIANS 4:20-24 “But ye have not so learned Christ;
Eph 4:21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
Eph 4:22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
Eph 4:23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
Eph 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.”

b.    Ang ating dating pagkatao ay ang buhay natin sa laman sa kasalanan na namana natin kay Adan at Eva.

EPHESIANS 2:3-4 “Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
Eph 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,”

c.      Patotoo ni Pablo na si Kristo na ang nabubuhay sa kanyang buhay at ito’y sa pananampalataya sa Anak ng Diyos.

GALATIANS 2:20 “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”

2. IN JESUS CHRIST WE CAN ASSURE GREAT PEACE IN CHRISTIAN LIFE

(Kay Kristo Hesus ay makakasiguro tayo ng dakilang kapayapaan sa ating buhay Kristiyano)

ROMANS 5:1 “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:”

a.     May lubos na kapayapaan dahil wala na tayong hatol sa impiyerno ng dahil kay Kristo.

JOHN 5:24 “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”

b.    May lubos na kapayapaan sapagkat si Kristo ay tumahan sa buhay natin at Siya ang buhay na walang hanggan.

1JOHN 5:20 “And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, [even] in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.”

c.      May lubos na kapayapaan sapagkat ang bunga ng Banal na Espiritu ay kapayapaan.

GALATIANS 5:22 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,”

3. IN JESUS CHRIST WE CAN ASSURE GREAT VICTORY TO OVERCOME OUR SPIRITUAL ENEMY

 (Kay Kristo Hesus ay makakasiguro tayo ng dakilang pagtatagumpay laban sa ating espiritwal na kaaway)

1CORINTHIANS 15:57 “But thanks [be] to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

a.     Si Kristo Hesus ang nagbibigay sa atin ng pagtatagumpay na hindi matakot sa banta ng kamatayan sa ating buhay.

1CORINTHIANS 15:55-57 “O death, where [is] thy sting? O grave, where [is] thy victory?
1Cor 15:56 The sting of death [is] sin; and the strength of sin [is] the law.
1Cor 15:57 But thanks [be] to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

b.    Si Kristo ang nagbibigay sa atin ng pagtatagumpay sa ating pagharap sa mabigat na pagsubok sa buhay.

2CORINTHIANS 12:9-10 “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
2Cor 12:10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.”

c.      Si Kristo ang nagbibigay sa atin ng pagtatagumpay upang mamuhay tayo ng may kabanalan sa harap ng Diyos.

1PETER 2:21 “For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:”

JOHN 17:17 “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.”

4. IN JESUS CHRIST WE CAN ASSURE GREAT HARVEST IN THE WORK OF THE LORD

(Kay Kristo Hesus ay makasisiguro tayo nang lubos na pagbubunga sa gawain ng Panginoon)

JOHN 4:35 “Say not ye, There are yet four months, and [then] cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.”

a.     Si Kristo mismo ang nanghihikayat na itingin natin ang ating mga mata sa mga kaluluwang aanihin na handa na upang anihin.

b.    Ang iglesya ng Jerusalem ay totoong umani ng maraming kaluluwang nangalligtas.

ACTS 2:41-47 “Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added [unto them] about three thousand souls.
Acts 2:42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
Acts 2:43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.
Acts 2:44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
Acts 2:45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all [men], as every man had need.
Acts 2:46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
Acts 2:47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.”

c.      Si Kristo mismo ang nagturo ng pitumpo pang mang-aani ng mga kaluluwa.

LUKE 10:1-2 “After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.
Lk 10:2 Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly [is] great, but the labourers [are] few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.”

Pangwakas:

Si Kristo Hesus ang pinagmumulan ng lakas espiritwal ng Kristiyano at nagbibigay nang lubos na pagtatagumpay at pag-asa sa ating buhay Kristiyano.

COLOSSIANS 1:27 “To whom God would make known what [is] the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:”
