PSALMS 1:1-3 “Blessed [is] the man that walketh not in
the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in
the seat of the scornful.
Pss 1:2 But his delight [is] in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
Pss 1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”
Panimula:
a.
c.
1. THEY WERE
BLESSED BECAUSE THEY CHOSE TO DELIGHT IN THE LAW OF THE LORD
(Sapagkat
PSALMS 1:2 “But his delight [is] in the law of the
Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.”

PSALMS 1:3 “And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that
bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and
whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”
JOSHUA 1:8 “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt
meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all
that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then
thou shalt have good success.”
2. THEY WERE
BLESSED BECAUSE THEY CHOOSE TO FEAR GOD IN THEIR LIFE
(Sapagkat
PSALMS 128:1-2
“Blessed
[is] every one that feareth the Lord; that walketh in his ways.
Pss 128:2 For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy [shalt] thou [be], and [it shall be] well with thee.”
Pss 128:2 For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy [shalt] thou [be], and [it shall be] well with thee.”
PSALMS 128:2-5 “For thou shalt eat the labour of thine
hands: happy [shalt] thou [be], and [it shall be] well with thee.
Pss 128:3 Thy wife [shall be] as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.
Pss 128:4 Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the Lord.
Pss 128:5 The Lord shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.”

kabanalan sa kanilang buhay-Kristiyano)

who walk in the law of the Lord.”

tao.

upright.”

as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of
conversation;
1Pet 1:16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.”
1Pet 1:16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.”
c.
4. THEY WERE
BLESSED BECAUSE THEY CHOSE TO BE PERSECUTED FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS’ SAKE

theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”

JOHN 17:14-15 “I
have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not
of the world, even as I am not of the world.
Jn 17:15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.”
