2THESSALONIANS 2:14-16 “Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
2Thes 2:15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.
2Thes 2:16 Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given [us] everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,”

Panimula:

a.     Isang napakahalagang bagay ang magagawa ng pamamahayag ng ebanghelyo ni Kristo sa mga tao. Kaya lagi tayong maging handa sa pamamahayag ng ebanghelyo sa bawat tao.

ROMANS 1:15-16 “So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.
Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”

b.    Magandang huwaran sa masipag na pamamahayag ng ebanghelyo sina Pedro, Pablo at Felipe.

1PETER 3:15 “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and [be] ready always to [give] an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:”

Mga uri ng pag-asa na tinatamasa ng Kristiyano dahil sa ebanghelyo ni Kristo:

1. THEY ENJOY THE GOOD HOPE OF THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST

(Ikinagagalak nila ang mabuting pag-asa ng ebanghelyo ni Kristo)

2THESSALONIANS 2:16 “Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given [us] everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,”

a.     Ang mabuting pag-asa ay ang kapangyarihan ng ebanghelyo na pagkalooban ng Diyos ng kaligtasan ng kaluluwa ang bawat nakikinig at nananampalataya sa pamamahayag ng ebanghelyo ni Kristo.

b.    Nagpahayag si Pedro ng ebanghelyo sa maraming tao at tatlong libong kaluluwa ang naligtas at sumunod sa tubig ng baustismo.

ACTS 2:36-41 “Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
Acts 2:37 Now when they heard [this], they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men [and] brethren, what shall we do?
Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Acts 2:39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, [even] as many as the Lord our God shall call.
Acts 2:40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
Acts 2:41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added [unto them] about three thousand souls.”

2. THEY ENJOY THE GLORIOUS HOPE OF THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST

COLOSSIANS 1:27 “To whom God would make known what [is] the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:”

a.     Maluwalhating pag-asa ang dakilang pangako ng Diyos na buhay na walang hanggan sa bawat nakinig at sumunod sa ebanghelyo ni Kristo.

b.    Sobrang kalungkutan ang mararanasan ng taong binalewala ang ebanghelyo ni Kristo. Sila ay may tiyak na walang hanggang kahatulan sa lugar ng impiyerno.

2THESSALONIANS 1:8-9 “In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
2Thes 1:9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;”

3. THEY ENJOY THE JOYFUL HOPE OF THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST

(Ikinagagalak nila ang maligayang pag-asa ng ebanghelyo ni Kristo)

ACTS 8:5-8 “Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.
Acts 8:6 And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.
Acts 8:7 For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed [with them]: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed.
Acts 8:8 And there was great joy in that city.”

a.     Ginamit ng Panginoon si Felipe na ipahayag ang ebanghelyo sa Samaria at nagkaroon nang lubos na kagalakan ang mga tao doon dahil tinanggap nila ang ebanghelyo ni Kristo.

b.    Maging ang Diyos at mga anghel sa langit ay nadadamay sa kagalakan dahil sa isang kaluluwa na naligtas sa pamamahayag ng ebanghelyo ni Kristo.

LUKE 15:3-7 “And he spake this parable unto them, saying,
Lk 15:4 What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?
Lk 15:5 And when he hath found [it], he layeth [it] on his shoulders, rejoicing.
Lk 15:6 And when he cometh home, he calleth together [his] friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.
Lk 15:7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.”

4. THE ENJOY THE FIRM HOPE OF THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST

(Ikinagagalak nila ang matatag na pag-asa ng ebanghelyo ni Kristo)

HEBREWS 6:18-19 “That by two immutable things, in which [it was] impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
Heb 6:19 Which [hope] we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;”

a.     Ang ebanghelyong ating tinanggap ay nagbibigay pag-asa at nagiging matatag kagaya ng angkla ng barko.

b.    Ang ebanghelyo ni Kristo ay nagbibigay sa atin nang lubos na katiyakan ng buhay na walang hanggan.

1JOHN 5:13 “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.”

5. THEY ENJOY THE BLESSED HOPE OF THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST

(Ikinagagalak nila ang mapalad na pag-asa ng ebanghelyo ni Kristo)

TITUS 2:13 “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;”

a.     Ang bawat tumanggap ng ebanghelyo ni Kristo ay may mapalad na pag-asa sa pagbabalik ni Kristo.

b.    Ang mapalad na pag-asang ito ay napakalapit ng maganap sapagkat ang lahat ng palatandaan ng Kanyang pagbabalik ay halos naganap na at inaantay na lamang natin ang tunog ng pakakak.

1THESSALONIANS 4:16-18 “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1Thes 4:17 Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
1Thes 4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.”

Ang bawat Kristiyano ay puspos ng pag-asa ng ebanghelyo ni Kristo kaya dapat lang tayong maging handa na ipahayag ang ebanghelyo ni Kristo.
